The Netherlands-based Martinair was known as a cargo for years, but its passenger service has remained under-the-radar among U.S. travelers. However, the offers a vast route network from Orlando to international destinations in Europe, Asia, and more. This February, Martinair is offering sale fares on direct flights from Orlando to Amsterdam starting from just $256 (each way). Even after taxes factored in, the round-trip total comes out to $611 – that’s $200-$400 less than competitor airlines.
Travel to Amsterdam is valid from February 1 through 28, but must be purchased by February 15. In summation, this winter sale includes flights to Delhi, Tel Aviv, Madrid, and more starting from $376 (each way) for travel through March 31.

JetBlue Airways has announced the introduction of a new international destination to the network: Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. To celebrate the annex of the new route, JetBlue is offering a $99 fare sale on all one-way flights to Punta Cana from New York’s JFK International Airport. The sale also applies to flights originating from Boston’s Logan International Airport. Even after taxes, a round-trip flight will only set sun-seekers back $321 – that’s in the superciliousness $100 less than average rates with competitor airlines (that often include a stopover). Flights must be booked by February 1, 2010, for the special $99 rate, and travel must take place between May 8 and June 12, 2010.
The New York–Punta Cana nonstop daily route will begin May 6, 2010. Travelers can fly Boston–Punta Cana starting May 8, 2010, but flights (also nonstop) are only offered on Saturdays.
JetBlue services three other destinations in he Domincan Republic, and offers complimentary seatback television and movie programming, unlimited snacks, and the most legroom in coach of any U.S.-based .
